Admission Notification:

Applications are invited in prescribed form for admission in to NCTE approved Two Years B.Ed. Programme for the session 2023-25 of the College in pursuant to the G.O. No. 372-Edn(CS)/10M-20/2015. Date: 08.06.2023.

 

General Information:

  1. Applications are invited for admission to two Years B.Ed. Programme for session 2023-25.
  2. Total Number of Seats (Two Units of 50 students each) – Home University-80 & Other University-20. Reservation policy of Govt. of WB will be followed strictly. (Detail in seat distribution).
  3. All applications are to be made through online portal of the College Website only.
  4. Printout (All Pages) of Application form Generated after successful online submission to be submitted in the College office with requisite documents positively failing of which the application will not be considered.
  5. All the admitted students have to secure the required percentage of attendance to become eligible for appearing at all the final examinations as well as in the Internal Assessment. Students whose attendance is found below of that in any subject will be treated as dis-collegiate, and will be barred from appearing in the examinations, as per guideline of Vidyasagar University and Norms of NCTE, 80% attendance in Theoretical Paper and 90% attendance in Practical Paper are mandatory to complete the course. If any students remain absent consecutively for Six (6) days without prior permission, his/her name may be cancelled.

​​​​​​​Academic Qualification:

Special care should be taken by the candidates while providing information to this section. They should clearly understand what is mark obtained and full marks. In case of Vocational Candidates (who are considered as pass graduates) all the examinations Part-I, II & III /I to VI SEM should be considered and marks obtained & total marks should be rightly calculated. Candidates having Honours in (UG) degree level will be awarded grade for Honours & General/Generic subject marks as a whole. He/ She will be considered as Honours graduate in the case. Similarly, if a candidate has M.A. & M.Sc. in two different subjects then the qualification acquired later will be considered for determining his category & grade calculation. In all the cases each and every candidate should submit the attested Xerox copies of their mark sheets (Both sides) of all the examinations passed.
